Getting Ready For IYC '09

Hey guys,

I know it's been a while since I last updated the blog, but things have been insane as we are putting the finishing touches on Camp. As many of you may already know, we at Crossfire Youth Ministries put on a Youth Camp every single year around the latter part of July. This year, the dates are July 22-26, which is from a Wednesday to a Sunday, and we are expecting great and mighty things from the Lord.
If any of you are interested in being a part of this years Camp, let me give a brief explanation of what Camp is all about. First of all, the cost of Camp is only $100, which includes 5 nights in a nice, air conditioned dormitory, 3 square meals a day, a free camp t-shirt (which will be the coolest shirt that we have ever come up with), a free lanyard (you know, the thing that hangs around your neck to hold keys), and all activities fees.
Now, by the looks of this, you can tell that this camp is very inexpensive, and there's a reason why. We believe that almost everyone can afford $100. And with the constant hike in gas prices, and with the economy being the way that it is, we felt it would be best to drop the price from $200 to $100, which is half price. Now, we don't make any money off of camp, but that's not the reason why we put on this camp, it's for souls.
The ages of camp are 13-21, but if you are in your mid-twenties and still would like to be a part of camp, you can. So, register yourself today and don't wait any longer. Spaces are limited, so register now, to make sure you will have a spot for camp. To register, you can call us at 225-768-3072, or email us at crossfire@jsm.org, or you can go to our website at www.crossfireyouthministries.org/iyc.
Once again, don't delay, call or log on today!

A Word of Encouragement

Fellow Believers in Jesus Christ Our Lord & Saviour,

I would like to encourage all of you to continue to walk in victory & to know that the Holy Spirit is thee ever present help in times of trials and tribulations in your walk of faith.  He is the gentle whisper of hope and will guide you through these days.

At times I personally feel; come Lord Jesus and takes us all Home but I know that He has a work to complete in my Life & the christian walk is an extremely difficult one at times but it is so rewarding & blesseth in this Life and will take me Home one day; when my Wonderful Saviour Calls Me.

As I type this message today; I just felt to share with you all that each one of you has a purpose in Gods eyes and He Will Use You; a friendly smile; a greeting to a strange; a gesture of good will;  A Word of Encouragment.

LISTEN TO THAT GENTLE WHISPER.

Love in Christ

Rachel.
