It has been quite some time since my last post, and I do apologize for the long delay. Fatherhood can be quite the task.

Over the last several days, I believe that the Lord has been dealing with me, greater than ever before on the subject of Revival. In prayer, while seeking the Face of God for our weekly Crossfire Services, the Presence of the Lord came all over me, tears began to run down my cheeks as the Spirit of God was moving through my heart. I felt a burden for our Youth like never before, as I could see their faces in my mind's eye. I could feel the heartache and pain that many go through, and all I could do was weep.

I know it has been sometime since I last posted anything on the website, but I'm back. First of all, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I am believing that this year will be the greatest year that we have ever had at Crossfire, seeing more souls brought into the Kingdom, more Believers Baptized with the Holy Spirit, more bondages broken by the Power of God, and more lives changed!

Being a Youth Pastor for the last 6 1/2 years, there has been one debate or question that has plagued, and is plaguing, many young people and adults alike. That question is, "How can I live for God?" With many, it seems impossible and unattainable, while others simply do not understand how that this can be done. Let's take a look at what the Scripture says about this issue.

Here we are, just one year later,anticipating the greatest event of the summer, IYC '09! This morning when I woke up, I felt an overwhelming rush of excitement as I began to think that in a little over 24 hours, camp will be upon us, and I began to see in my mind the scores of young people from all over the country, and other parts of the world, going through the registration lines, getting their room information, t-shirt, and lanyard, and seeing them heading to the Church house for service. It's exciting indeed.

Can you believe that we are just 5 days away from IYC '09? It seems like yesterday that we closed out IYC '08, and here we are, one year later, about to begin this year's camp. We are expecting the great things this year, and I hope you are too. For those who have registered, get ready for an awesome experience. But for those who are not able to make it, you can tune in every night on the Sonlife Radio network in your area, or over the Internet at www.jsm.org, and click on the Sonlife Radio icon, and you will be able to tune in to every service.

I've got some exciting news! We just received a shipment of the Expositor's Study Bible Crossfire Edition! We've worked hard on putting this particular Bible together, and I know that the Lord has helped us put it together for you! It is identical to the regular print Study Bible, but with 3 differences:
1) It's a hard cover, where the regular print is genuine Bonded Leather. The reason for this is that most young people and young adults like a hard cover Bible. And, I like a hard cover Bible as well.

I know it's been a while since I last updated the blog, but things have been insane as we are putting the finishing touches on Camp. As many of you may already know, we at Crossfire Youth Ministries put on a Youth Camp every single year around the latter part of July. This year, the dates are July 22-26, which is from a Wednesday to a Sunday, and we are expecting great and mighty things from the Lord.

As many of you know, we have our weekly Crossfire Youth service tonight, at 7 p.m. located on the 2nd floor of the Sonlife Radio building. We have had some tremendous services as of late, as we have been studying the great Sixth Chapter of Romans, which I believe is the single most important Chapter in the entirety of the Word of God. We have been teaching on the Victory that is found in Christ and what He did at Calvary, and how that our Faith must be ever anchored in the Finished Work of Christ.
